These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website and apply to all orders placed through our online store or wholesale service. By making a purchase, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Introduction
We supply children’s dress-ups, school accessories, and related products through our retail store and wholesale channels. This policy distinguishes between Retail Customers (general consumers) and Wholesale Customers (business purchasers for resale). By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
2. Definitions
Buyer: Refers to any individual or business purchasing products from Kin & Co.
Goods: Refers to all physical products sold by Kin & Co.
Services: Includes any ancillary services provided in relation to the sale of Goods.
Price: The total amount payable for Goods, excluding GST unless otherwise stated.
3. Orders & Acceptance
Submitting an order through our website or wholesale portal confirms your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
For wholesale orders, all Buyers are jointly and severally responsible for payment if multiple parties are involved.
Any variation to these terms must be agreed in writing by Kin & Co management.
4. Products & Pricing
All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
Retail pricing includes GST. Wholesale pricing excludes GST unless noted otherwise.
Prices are subject to change without notice. Confirmed and paid orders will not be affected.
5. Ordering & Payment
Retail Orders
Orders must be placed via our website.
Payment is processed securely via Stripe (credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay).
Orders are confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
Wholesale Orders
Orders can be submitted via email or wholesale portal.
An invoice will be issued for approval prior to payment.
Payment must be made via bank transfer. Orders will only be dispatched once full payment is received.
6. Shipping & Delivery
Retail Shipping (New Zealand)
All retail orders are shipped using Aramex or NZ Post.
Please note: we cannot deliver to PO Box addresses.
Delivery Charges (NZ) (Applicable to online orders only. Excludes wholesale orders)
North Island: $8
North Island Rural (RD): $12
South Island: $10
South Island Rural (RD): $14
Free shipping NZ-wide on orders over $125
Estimated Delivery Timeframes
Orders are dispatched within 2 business days of receiving payment.
North Island (non-rural): 1–2 business days from courier pick-up
South Island (non-rural): 3–4 business days from courier pick-up
Rural deliveries: please allow an extra 1–2 business days
Tracking
Tracking details will be emailed once your order has been dispatched.
Retail Shipping (Australia)
We are happy to ship to Australia.
All standard shipments are untracked.
If you require tracked delivery, please contact us for pricing.
Delivery Charges (Australia)
NZ$25.00 per order (up to 3kg)

5–12 business days from dispatch
Kin & Co is not responsible for courier or customs delays
Wholesale Shipping
Shipping costs are quoted after order confirmation and invoiced accordingly.
Orders are dispatched within 3–5 business days after full payment is received.
Wholesale delivery available to New Zealand and Australia only.
- Net courier cost based on order size. Free delivery on orders over $500.
7. Risk & Title
Ownership of Goods passes only after full payment is received.
Risk passes to the Buyer at the point of delivery.
Until payment is complete, Kin & Co may repossess Goods if necessary.
8. Returns & Refunds
We want you to love your Kin & Co purchase, but if something’s not quite right, here’s how we handle returns and warranty claims.
Retail Customers
Change of Mind Returns
Returns for change of mind are accepted within 10 days of receiving your order.
Returned items must be in new and original condition, with tags and packaging intact.
Return shipping is at the customer’s expense.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
Must be reported within 10 business days of receiving your order.
Items must be returned unused, in original condition, and include your order number and receipt.
Return shipping is your responsibility, we recommend a trackable method as proof of return.
Once received and inspected, we’ll offer a refund, replacement, or store credit (excluding courier cost).
- Returned items must be in new and original condition, with tags and packaging intact.
Returns showing signs of use or damage may be declined at our discretion.
Wholesale Customers
All wholesale sales are final, unless the goods arrive faulty or damaged.
Any damage must be reported within 10 business days, with supporting photos if applicable.
Returned items must be in new and original condition, with tags and packaging intact.
Returns are at the buyer’s expense and must be made via trackable courier.
Kin & Co may offer a credit, replacement, or refund at our discretion.
Warranty Coverage
Our warranty covers manufacturing defects only. It does not cover damage due to:
General wear and tear
Improper use or neglect
Stains, marks, or rough handling
Incorrect washing or care
9. Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
Retail purchases are protected under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
Wholesale purchases are made for business purposes and are excluded from the Act under Section 43.
10. Use of Products & Resale
Retail customers may not resell Kin & Co products without written consent.
Wholesale customers may not repackage, relabel, or alter products without approval.
Kin & Co may restrict resale on third-party platforms such as Trade Me, Amazon, or similar.
11. Confidentiality (Wholesale Only)
All wholesale pricing, communications, and agreements must remain confidential and not be shared without prior written consent.
12. Intellectual Property
All designs, branding, imagery, and content remain the property of Kin & Co NZ Limited.
Use or reproduction without written permission is strictly prohibited.
13. Limitation of Liability
Kin & Co is not liable for indirect or consequential losses to the extent permitted by New Zealand law.
Liability for any breach is limited to the purchase price of the Goods.
14. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for failure to perform due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, courier disruptions).

16. Amendments
These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time. The latest version will always be published on our website and take effect immediately upon posting.
